The Playstation 4 has officially been announced (surprise!) at Sony’s ‘See the Future’ Conference. Many of the rumors we’ve reported on prior to the conference are absolutely true. Take the Dual Shock 4 Controller for instance. It was shown exactly as the concept images we showed earlier in the week. As well as GaiKai and the Live PS Store Demo’s. Here’s some of the Playstation 4 system specs revealed:
- X86 CPU
- Enhanced PC GPU
- 8GB Unified Memory
- HDD Local Storage
- Dual Shock 4 Controller with enhanced rumble features, reduced lag, touch screen, and headphone jack.
- Motion Camera/Sensor Bar
- 8 CPU Cores
- Up to 176GB/S Bandwidth Transfer
PS4 Games Revealed Thus Far:
- Knack
- Killzone: Shadowfall
- Infamous: Second Son
- The Witness
- Driveclub
- Deep Down (working title)
- Watch Dogs
- Destiny
