  • Concept: 4.5

Drop you into an unknown life and spit you out the other side fully invested

  • Gameplay: 3.5

Gone Home doesn't rely on much in the way of compelling gameplay, most everything is just a means to an end. That being said it serves it's purpose perfectly.

  • Graphics: 3.5

There's nothing industry changing or mind-blowing on display, but the studios ability to recreate a 90's family through their belongings is admirable

  • Plot: 5

The story is wonderful, most of it's more subtle themes are extremely well handled, and it's main plot points are approached with a measured sense

Overall: 3.5
