  • Concept: 4.5

The addition of the magic marker adds a level of innovation to the typical 2.5D puzzle platformer formula

  • Gameplay: 3.5

The puzzles are varied enough to keep things interesting, but the Xbox One's analog sticks simply aren't precise enough for this game.

  • Graphics: 5

The cartoon graphics are anything but simplistic. The use of lighting and the large selection of detailed environments are great to look at

  • Plot: 4

  • Sound: 5

Max features fitting sound FX, cheesy but charming voice acting, and good musical score

Overall: 4
