Did Zelda triumphantly return to the 3DS, or was his outing as flat as his likeness?
The world of A Link to the Past in a totally new environment. It's great to see the top-down puzzle solving RPG revamped like this.
A few minor tics here and there make this just miss perfection, but it's pretty close.
At first, you might think this is a bit high, but the look of this game is incredible.
Unfortunately, this is the game's only spot of mediocrity. It is so close to the plot of its predecessor that it's impossible to go any higher than above average.
It sounds like a Zelda game should, and considering that it is a Zelda game, there isn't much more you can ask. Of course, there isn't any real voice acting for the cut scenes, so it does lose marks for that.
