Betrayer is a decidedly unique game, though it isn't without its missed opportunities.
Gameplay: 3
The realistic use of 17th century weaponry is a unique choice, but the combat becomes repetitive once the A.I. is cracked.
Graphics: 3.5
Noir is a bold choice, especially for a Colonial FPS. For the most part, it works
Plot: 3
It is based on a very real mystery and holds the player's attention, but only if the player is willing to put in the effort.
Sound: 2.5
Sound is a main component of the game, but the superb execution is undermined by the mediocre variety.
