Titanfall Beta May Be Tied To Pre-Order To Some Extent
The communication on Titanfall‘s beta has been a bit disjointed. A friend of mine who follows the industry relatively closely was completely sure that a pre-order was necessary to secure a spot in the beta. However, according to Vince Zampella, that isn’t the case. But wait, Australian retailer Dick Smith’s upcoming circular has the verbiage “BETA download available now, for pre-order customers” in regards to Titanfall. It’s possible that Australian Xbox gamers may need to pre-order to gain access to the beta, but that’s far from confirmed.
So what’s the deal? Is the beta active as we speak? That’s what the advert insinuates. Is a pre-order necessary? We’ll ask the folks at Respawn for a bit more clarification and update when able.
