Obsidian To Reveal A New Game At GDC 2014, Fallout 4?

Obsidian Entertainment has been quietly working on Pillars of Eternity since funding the project via Kickstarter. However, based on new evidence it seems the studio has a second, unannounced title in the works. This information was spotted on a Bradley University testimonial from a woman named Katrina Schnell. Schnell is now working at Obsidian and her credits in the article include work on Pillars of Eternity, but “This isn’t the only game Katrina is working on through Obsidian … that game is still a secret and will be announced at Game Developers Conference in San Francisco in 2014!”

Will the game being announced at GDC 2014 be Fallout 4? Obsidian developed Fallout: New Vegas, the last title in the series, which was released in 2010. Plenty of time for the studio to put together a good amount of content and prepare a teaser for GDC.

Conversely we could be looking at a new IP or even the continuation of a successful IP the studio has in its portfolio. Alpha Protocol didn’t break any sales records, but is heralded as a great stealth action title. If Obsidian is looking to break the internet, they could always announce a new Knights of the Old Republic.

Will our pleas finally be answered in March, or is this just more blind faith that someone is working on a new Fallout title? How about a new Alpha Protocol or KOTOR? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
