Check Out This Never Before Seen The Evil Within Concept Art
Shinji Mikami and Tango Gameworks are hoping to rewrite the book on survival horror with The Evil Within. So far we’ve seen what the gruesome enemies and horrifying environments look like rendered in-game, but some brand new concept art for the title has just been discovered. The artwork gives us a few clues as to future information that may be revealed about the title.
First off, all of the early information and screenshots we’ve seen seem to depict protagonist Sebastian Castellanos trapped in an insane asylum full of nightmarish creatures; these images seem to convey something completely different. Possibly a post apocalyptic scenario? It seems that some type of enormous creature may be at play based on the below image. If you look closely you’ll see what looks like the remnants of giant claw marks in the sides of the skyscrapers.
Also, the artwork (like the one we analyzed above) showing vast cities in ruins is marked “Crimson City”. There may be something major that Tango Gameworks and Bethesda haven’t let out of the bag about The Evil Within as of yet. It’s important to note that these images are not meant for the public and carry notations from the creative team.
What do you think we can look forward to in the future with The Evil Within? Is Sebastian one of humanity’s last survivors in a world of horrific monsters? Let us know in the comments below. (The rest of the concept art can be found below)
