Andrew House Reveals PlayStation Now At CES
Andrew House took to the CES Stage to talk about Sony‘s evolving content delivery goals. During his time on-stage he officially revealed PlayStation Now. The service is set to stream PlayStation 1, 2, and 3 content via smartphones, smart TVs, Tablets and PlayStation devices. This is the culmination of Sony’s work with Gaikai. The service was described as either rent by title or subscription based.
A closed Beta is planned for late January and a full rollout is scheduled for Summer 2014.
