EA Sports Releases New UFC Screenshots, Roster Reveal Incoming

EA Sports have finally given a long awaited update on the development of EA Sports UFC. A full roster reveal is set to happen over the coming months, with in-game screenshots accompanying them. The full roster is said to include nearly 100 of the UFC’s top fighters of the past and present. The announcement included new screenshots (above and below) of UFC Light Heavyweight champ John “Bones” Jones.

From the early looks at the title, we’ve only noticed a slight enhancement in graphical fidelity. As these are in-development shots, that fact could drastically change by Spring 2014.

I don’t believe ANYTHING EA shows anymore. Especially in the sports genre. All they do is promise things they NEVER deliver on (Madden 25 next-gen and NBA Live 14). They are NOTHING but a bait-and-switch company.

Too bad EA can’t match the visual fidelity of 2K sports games. I wish 2K had the UFC license, then this game might actually look like a next gen title.
