Did PS4’s #4ThePlayers Commercial Reveal Uncharted Details?

Before the launch of PS4, Sony released the #4ThePlayers commercial that hinted at several future IP’s that may be headed to the console. People spotted characters like PaRappa The Rapper, among other things. Since the ad debuted, it’s been placed online as an interactive advert wherein you can pause the video and click on points of interest throughout. When you do so, you’re given additional information about the object, character, or in this case; storefront.
Drake’s Antiques was one of the harder easter eggs to spot when the video was in motion due to the angle of it’s positioning. That’s why NeoGAF user Chadskin went back and gave it another go. When he was given additional information on Drake’s Antiques (In German) he translated it, and he found something interesting.

The translation amounted to this, “After the thrilling adventures of the modern treasure hunter Nathan Drake, the new Uncharted series will be developed exclusively for PlayStation by Naughty Dog Inc.” This phrase heavily implies that Nathan Drake won’t be the protagonist in the new Uncharted PS4 game. The scuttlebutt, and the analysis of the Uncharted teaser suggest we may be in the boots of Sir Francis Drake this time around.
This is all heavy speculation and shouldn’t be taken as truthfact in any way. We’ll update if there’s more Uncharted PS4 information.
