The Xbox One Is Readily Available At Most Major Retailers
A while back the scuttlebutt was that Microsoft was having trouble producing enough Xbox One‘s to meet pre-order demand. At this point, those issues looked to be handily rectified. An hour was spent this morning calling around to our local area retailers here in the Minneapolis area, and most of them have green boxes in-stock. Target, Best Buy, and Wal-Mart have the Xbox One on-hand for any gamers that didn’t pre-order. In the wee hours of the morning, my local Best Buy had 50 Xbox One units on top of their pre-order stock. They had received 85 units in all.
Reports around the U.S. suggest the console is in fair supply. Great news for those of us that didn’t want to wait around at midnight last night. Not having received a review unit from Microsoft, I was forced to buy a device out-of-pocket. I literally waltzed into Best Buy yesterday evening at 11pm CST and was handed a ticket to paradise. The location still had consoles available after the midnight rush.
It looks like you won’t have to wait for weeks or even months for an Xbox One. Unlike the millions of gamers that are on GameStop’s PS4 waiting list.
