PS4 Bundles Are Back In-Stock At GameStop

UPDATE: The refreshed pre-order stock seems to be sold out in a matter of minutes! Both great and sad at the same time.

ORIGINAL STORY: If you missed the pre-order train on the PlayStation 4 you’ll be happy to hear this bit of news. GameStop has several PS4 bundles back in-stock, including the Battlefield 4 starter bundle. The pricetag is considerably higher than the console alone; $569.96. But based on the product description it’s not fully clear what you’re getting. If you scroll to the very bottom of the page you’ll see the “bundled items” are listing:

  • PlayStation 4 Console
  • Battlefield 4 LE
  • PS4 DualShock 4 Controller
  • Battlefield 4

Confusing right? This description sounds like you’ll be receiving the LE and standard edition of Battlefield 4, the console, and one controller. Which is bat shit crazy in the first place. Why would you want two copies of the same game? Also, the MSRP of the items in question doesn’t add up to the $569.96 price tag. We’re reaching out to GameStop for further clarification as we speak.

why are they so expensive? Almost $600 for the console and a game? Da hell? The console is $400 and a game $60 = $460 not $570….

They also have one DualShock 4 Wireless Controller and PlayStation Plus 1 Year Member.

maybe you haven’t notice but it comes with extra controller for most of the bundle

    • We did see that for most of the bundles, but the BF4 one in particular doesn’t have the extra controller on the image. We just weren’t sure.
