Killzone Shadow Fall Goes Gold, Dedicated Multiplayer Servers Confirmed
The next generation of Killzone is on it’s way, and it’s packed with stunning visuals and dedicated servers
Guerrilla Games‘ Killzone Shadow Fall is one of my most anticipated next-gen titles. It’s also a PlayStation 4 launch game that’s managed to stay on track. A slew of new information from on the title has just become available today. A combination of developer tweets and Q&A information from the PlayStation Blog have us even more excited.

First off, as you can see above, Killzone Shadow Fall has gone gold. That means the code is finalized and is ready for the production line. A great bit of news considering the PlayStation 4 is less than a month away from release.
There’s also some very juicy tidbits from the PS Blog Q&A that are worth mentioning. I remember being slightly awestruck when I first saw Shadow Fall at the PlayStation 4 reveal. And according to Guerrilla Games technical director, Michiel van der Leeuw, “texture quality is now about four times higher than it was back then,”
Also worth noting is the fact that Shadow Fall’s game director, Steven Ter Heide stated, “We are running with dedicated servers to handle the transfer of data between clients,” which should result in a smoother online gameplay experience overall.
