River City Ransom: Underground Meets It’s Funding Goal On Kickstarter
The crew over at Conatus Creative has some celebrating to do. With just 48 hours left, they’ve met their funding goal for River City Ransom: Underground. We gave the project a bit of a bump when it first launched on Kickstarter and have been hoping it would cross the funding goal line. When we checked up on the project we were elated to see it’d funded and that there was a new gameplay video on the page. The video showcases some of the fighting we can expect to see in the game when it’s finished. The animations look nice and reactive and the combat itself is much improved upon. It’s like a dose of Street Fighter has been injected into the iconic bro-duo.
If you didn’t already know, River City Ransom: Underground is a licensed sequel to the original, it’s not a “fan made” game by any means. Conatus went to great lengths to secure the rights to create a new installment, and we’re glad to see that it’s going to happen.
