Check Out The Terrifying New Gameplay Video For The Evil Within
The new extended gameplay demo for The Evil Within really opened our eyes to what we’ve been missing in the survival horror genre for some time now. Shinji Mikami, the twisted mind behind some of Capcom‘s biggest franchises, has evaluated the genre and given it a much needed shot of malevolence. Perhaps best known for creating the mega franchise, Resident Evil, Mikami has re-focused with his team at Tango Gameworks to create something stunningly dreadful with The Evil Within. The clip is insanely mature, so keep the little one’s out while your pissing yourself.
From what we can see, Tango just gets it right. The level of grotesqueness may be pushing the limit, but there’s also legit feelings of helplessness and panic cultivated by the gameplay. The Evil Within is slated for a 2014 release on the PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
