Valiant Hearts: The Great War Inspired By True Events

One of Ubisoft‘s newly announced titles, Valiant Hearts: The Great War will utilize the same game engine that the critically acclaimed Rayman Legends runs on. The UbiArt Framework allows developers to create stunning, hand-drawn artwork come to life in a well oiled gaming environment.

Valiant Hearts: The Great War follows the stories of five separate soldiers who are brought together via their canine companion. The games narrative is inspired by real letters from the first World War. The gorgeous art direction takes place within a somber color palette to maintain the gritty and rather ugly tone of the first great war.

This emotionally charged story will all intertwine through the loyal companionship of a service canine. The 2D puzzle platformer will have players wading through trench warfare, the forests of the French countryside, and snowy fields. Valiant Hearts: The Great War will examine the friendship, love, sacrifice and tragedy that befell the soldiers of the first World War.

Valiant Hearts: The Great War is coming sometime in 2014 to Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and the PC.
