Focus Home Interactive Announces Unreal Engine 4 Powered Space Hulk: Deathwing

Last month Full Control released the latest installment in the Warhammer 40K universe. The turn based strategy game Space Hulk was met with a lukewarm reception. Hopefully the Unreal Engine 4 powered first person shooter Space Hulk: Deathwing will fair a bit better. Streum On Studio and Cyanide will be cooperating to bring the title to life within the next year.

The Space Hulk is a inhospitable mass of gigantic mangled asteroids, derelict ships, and random spatial debris. Lost space ships and other floating debris are said to withhold unknown treasures and forgotten technology. However, the danger of retrieving these priceless items is great. The zone is ripe with Genestealer infestations and other hazards.

Players will take control a member of one of the most feared and secretive Space Marine companies, Deathwing, part of the Dark Angels. Adorn the signature Terminator armour and gear up with emblematic the weaponry Space Marines have become known for to face the many threats awaiting you in the Space Hulk.

Space Hulk: Deathwing will offer 4 skill trees full of abilities and new powers, and a full range of weapon upgrades will help you overcome the terrors of the Space Hulk. No release platform has been announced, and the release window is also rather vague at this point. We’ll keep you up to date on the title as more information becomes available.
