EA Announces Heroes Of Dragon Age Free-To-Play Mobile Game
Electronic Arts has BioWare working on Dragon Age: Inquisition, but that’s not the only game in the Dragon Age universe that’s heading our way. Today EA announced that we’ll see a free-to-play Dragon Age spinoff for mobile devices called Heroes of Dragon Age.
The title is best described as a combat-focused spinoff where you’ll build a party of both heroes and monsters from “packs of fighters” (micro-transaction anyone?) The game is set to “span Dragon Age lore” meaning we could see cameos of past and present heroes and villains in the Dragon Age universe.
Heroes of Dragon Age is being developed by EA Capital Games, formerly BioWare Sacramento and KlickNation. The launch date and platforms remain a mystery at this time. If you recall, Dragon Age Legends was an earlier game that followed the F2P model on Facebook. It lasted approximately a year before it was retired.
We’ll keep you updated when more information is available.
