Overkill Has Planned Five Add-Ons For Payday 2

Payday 2 launched to mostly positive reviews from around the nets. I’ve found myself entranced with cooperative thievery for the better part of this week. Aside from useless companion AI and the mess that’s currently known as matchmaking, Payday 2 is a success. Overkill wants to capitalize on the early adoption of the game with five DLC add-ons.

The additional content will come over the span of a year (give or take). Payday 2 game director, David Goldfarb, had this to say in a recent interview,

“Payday 2 – just like its predecessor Payday: The Heist – is a living thing. We have 5five DLCs planned together with [publisher] 505 Games for the coming year.”

Goldfarb also noted that there will be plenty of free content coming our way as well. The team is also interested in adding modding tools to the game at some point, although, there’s no concrete plans.
