Electronic Arts Offers Up A 100% Charity Humble Origin Bundle
What the what!? Electronic Arts has put together one helluva Humble Origin Bundle full of games that are on both Steam and the companies Origin service. There’s some killer games to get your hands on, and if you’re not particularly familiar with the Humble Bundle criteria; you pay what you want. EA is donating 100% of the proceeds to charity, you’re even able to choose what amount of your donation goes to a given charity. Here’s the charities that stand to receive the proceeds from the sales – American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, San Francisco AIDS Foundation, Watsi, and the Human Rights Campaign.
Here’s the list of games currently offered in the bundle:
- Dead Space (Steam and Origin)
- Burnout Paradise Ultimate (Steam and Origin)
- Crysis 2 Maximum Edition (Steam and Origin)
- Mirror’s Edge (Steam and Origin)
- Dead Space 3 (Origin)
- Medal of Honor (Steam and Origin)
Pay more than $4.55 to unlock:
- Battlefield 3 (Origin)
- The Sims 3 Starter Pack (Origin)
As of now over 150K bundles have been sold with an average donation of $4.55, making the rough estimate of donations around $682K at the time of this writing. It’s always great to see large publishers step up and do the right thing, and EA was a surprisingly delightful addition. Head over to purchase a Humble Bundle for next to nothing and help some really great causes!
