CD Projekt RED‘s The Witcher series is known for being an alternative, adult themed action RPG. The Polish studio is uncompromising in their vision, and continually delivers amazing experiences told through insane graphic fidelity and rich stories. The newest trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt proves that CD Projekt RED will continue it’s own brand of mature RPG storytelling on next gen consoles.

Geralt of Rivia wields his silver Wticher sword to slay monsters of all types. From a young age, he was genetically altered to be proficient at monster hunting, but what exactly deems a creature to be a monster? That’s what the Killing Monsters cinematic trailer delves into.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will offer a living open world larger than any other in modern RPG history. The world map is reportedly 30 times larger than that of any of it’s predecessors and 20% bigger than The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This is possible with the use of the REDengine 3, which was developed in house at CD Projekt RED. Within this world you’ll be faced with tough enemies, merciless monsters, and moral choices that will shape your experience.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One some time in 2014.
