WWE 2K14 Lets You Relive The 30 Year History Of Wrestlemania
This year will mark the 30th anniversary of WWE‘s Wrestlemania. In celebration of the decade spanning entertainment extravaganza, 2K Sports are bringing the history of sports entertainments biggest show to it’s fans in the form of WWE 2K14.
The new single player mode for WWE 2K14 offers highlights from over 45 of the biggest matches in Wrestlemania history. The game mode is dubbed 30 Years of Wrestlemania. Relive iconic matches such as Hulk Hogan v Andre the Giant (Wrestlemania 3) and The Rock v Hulk Hogan (Wrestlemania 18). The mode is split into five distinct era’s, with visual filters and video packages to boost the nostalgia.
We’ve been hoping that 2K Sports would lend it’s hand to creating a proper career mode for the annual WWE installment moving forward. It’s possible there wasn’t enough time to implement the feature this year, or Yuke’s may have been too deep into development for a big change when the project shifted to 2K Sports’ banner.
WWE 2K14’s full roster will be announced live from Summer Slam on Twitch.tv. Check out 2K’s Twitch channel on August 17th at 12:30pm Pacific for the details.
