Oculus Rift And IndieCade Team Up For IndieCade Festival 2013’s VR Jam


This year’s IndieCade Festival is ups the ante with the addition of the VR Jam. Oculus Rift and IndieCade have announced a competition for independent designers/developers focused on the Oculus Rift VR headset. One of the groups will consist of pre-selected developers, with the other category being an Open Call. The competition begins on August 2nd and runs for three weeks in two categories.

Each of the five categories will have a grand prize of $10,000, a trip to IndieCade 2013, and a visit to the Oculus Rift HQ. The winners will be announced September 18th, roughly two weeks before the beginning of IndieCade 2013 which runs from October 3-6.
