Precursor Games Writer Arrested For Possession Of Child Pornography
Historically, things haven’t been going well for Precursor Games. They launched and subsequently killed their own crowdfunding efforts. The studio had a Dyack (I mean dark) shadow hanging over it since it brought itself into the public eye with it’s recent Kickstarter-campaign. Now it seems some ongoing and rather disturbing habits of one of Precursor’s writers has caught up with him. Ken McCulloch, game writer, designer, and artist at Precursor Games has been arrested for possession on child pornography.
Apparently local police had been investigating the artist since April and had finally pulled the trigger on a search warrant that turned up damning evidence. The Niagara Regional Police arrested McCulloch on June 27th.
Precursor is already attempting to distance themselves from the situation and their former employee. Via the companies official forums it’s CEO, Paul Caporicci stated,
Having just learned of these disturbing charges today and based on the serious nature of them, Ken McCulloch is no longer affiliated in any way with Precursor Games.
Hopefully there won’t be anything further to report on this issue, but if additional information comes to light, we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
