Atlus Announces PlayStation 4 Exclusive Game Daylight

Atlus is best known for it’s JRPG games, but it’s recent release God Mode has helped the company branch out into new territory. Atlus is now trying their hand at publishing survival horror games with their recently announced Playstation 4 exclusive – Daylight, Zombie Studios will develop the title.

Daylight features a rather standard fare plot, but the gameplay and level generation have us interested. The script is written by former IGN Daily Fix’r Jessica Chobot, so there’s that too.

After abruptly awakening in a dilapidated, horrifying hospital, you’ll have to find your way using your cell phone as a light source. The great part about Daylight is it’s levels and clues are randomly generated. This ensures you’ll never have an identical experience, no matter how many times you play. Daylight will harness the power of the Unreal Engine 4 to push the PS4 to it’s limits.

We’ll have more information on Daylight when it becomes available.
