Tango Gameworks Show Off The Combat Of The Evil Within
Recently Tango Gameworks provided Game Informer with a brief combat demo of The Evil Within. During the gameplay demo our protagonist Sebastian Castellanos traversed an asylum and dilapidated house. He was able to place shots to his foes specific appendages causing a like reaction. That means we have a return of reactionary wounds, something that has been absent from the past few Resident Evil games, but is alive and well in other experiences like Dead Space. Their glimpse of The Evil Within afforded them the reassurance that Bethesda and Tango Gameworks’ upcoming game will deliver a true Survival Horror experience.
The grotesque humanoid enemies of The Evil Within are reminiscent of Hellraiser, Silent Hill, and Thirteen Ghosts all occupying the same petri dish. A horrifying experience undoubtedly awaits. We can’t wait to see more of Shinji Mikami’s upcoming game.
The Evil Within is confirmed for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and current generation consoles.
