Report: Next Xbox Always On Feature All But Confirmed
In a bizarre turn of Twitter events Microsoft Studios Adam Orth and Bioware’s Manveer Heir have a spat that all but confirms the next Xbox will require an internet connection:
In the first string of Tweets Adam Orth is attempting to justify an always on connection with a few bad analogies. Bioware’s Manveer Heir chimes in with a bit of insight into the downsides of the “always on” feature, and Orth finishes up the spat with an Obama gif. It’s not even necessary to read between the lines here. The reports that we picked up from Kotaku yesterday seem to be completely confirmed at this point by Microsoft Studio’s Creative Director. This is as close as we’ll get to a confirmation before the supposed Xbox Event later this month.
