Lego Marvel Superheroes Announced
TT Games has pulled off the highly unlikely. They’ve secured the license to create Lego Marvel Superheroes the game. Why is this unlikely you say? It’s simple really, as it turns out TT Games’ parent company is Warner Bros. The same Warner Bros. that’s the parent company of the DC Comics brand. So yeah it’s pretty awesome they’ve bridged the gap between the two comic book power houses via Lego bricks.
We have some great Marvel characters present in the preliminary images that were released. The money tree squad The Avengers are definitely here with Spiderman, Wolverine, and Deadpool in toe. TT Games’ Lego portfolio included previous adaptations of Batman, Harry Potter, and of course Star Wars. It’s arguable that the Marvel license is the most credible get for the developers thus far and it will be nice for Warner Bros. to profit from Marvel for once.
Lego Marvel Superheroes is due out this year on PC, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and those crazy handhelds Nintendo 3ds, DS, and Playstation Vita.
